Went to opening night for the Warriors earlier today.  What an embarrassment. Lost by 21 points at home on opening night. Played no defense whatsoever and turned the ball over like it was in style.   At least the Lakers lost too. 

So my buddy brings a female friend.  This chick was hardcore about the Warriors...yelling and cheering.  For some reason, this got me thinking about girls that I have dated in the past.  Then I looked around and noticed a lot of guys bringing their girlfriends to the game...there was even some groups of girls going, with no guys.  You see all my life I have dated a certain type of female.  The type that is afraid to chip a nail...someone who won't eat something because it is too greasy...who won't have a beer once awhile...who won't go to the game with me..or if she goes, she will just stay quiet and tell me not to yell too loud....someone who doesn't understand why I need to hang with the guys once awhile.  For once I want someone who WILL go to the game and enjoy it as much as I do...someone who will drink beers and share nachos with me...and someone who can hang out with my guy friends and not roll her eyes too much.  Tomorrow I start looking for this type of female...haha.  As for the rest of tonight...the game was too depressing for me to do anything else. 

finally i am back.  after a few years away from cali (pharm school)...then a couple of years up near the north bay (for work)...now i am finally back home in the south bay.  feels pretty good to be closer to family and friends.  now i dont have to drive in traffic just to get good chinese food.  no more driving 1 hour just to come back to get my haircut.  went from having no boba shops to having 4 on every corner. 

i guess i have been gone for awhile though.  i had forgotten how bad people drive down here....especially those mothers with kids ....please DO NOT stop in the middle of a busy expressway....trying to make a 4 lane change...with your skills, that could take half an afternoon....dumbasses.  

my "ultimate plan" for my future is getting there...slowly but surely (i'm taking the long round-about route ).  just missing  a couple of big steps however..haha. 

my beloved warriors finally made it into the playoffs last night .  after 13 years of getting my hopes up....then getting let down only 1 month into the season.  i was in high school the last time they made it playoffs.  we play the best team in the league (dallas)..but its okay......just the fact that the team made the playoffs is good enough.  i honestly think they can take a game or two from  the mavericks. going to try to get some tickets....never know when the next time the warriors make the playoffs....might never happen again  .  now i can die a happy man...
